Dr. Ed Farrar -- the cycling enthusiast and orthopedic surgeon -- was nearly fatally injured when struck by a car on October 22. Ed is still in intensive care but is slowly improving. Sunday, November 9. Between 600 and 700 cyclists arrive to ride through Wenatchee to give emotional support to the Farrar family....The Rally was not just a dazzling display of how one person can touch so many lives; it was an equally dazzling display of how a community can care for its individuals.
