Ski Deals for the 2013-14 Season

Most ski areas around the region offer cheaper deals if you buy your pass early. How early? That varies a little from hill to hill so we've brought the details together in one spot to remove any guessing from the decision of when you should spring. Additionally, for a story that showcases the value of Central Washington skiing, check out Mission Ridge vs. Whistler/Blackcomb.t Although we prepared this story in 2008, the theme of the story is just as relevant now as it was then.

Mission Ridge

Season passes at Mission Ridge will be the cheapest until October 31. Pass prices then jump $50 to $130, depending on your age. A season pass includes unlimited free weekday skiing at the three areas at The Summit's (Snoqualmie Pass), five free days at the White Pass ski area, as well as several other ski offers and discounts.

Early Seasons Rates:

  • Young Adult (13-24) Season Pass: $259
  • Adult (25-61) Season Pass: $425

Leavenworth Winter Sports Trails

Season passes at the Leavenworth Ski Hill and at the Leavenworth Nordic Trails will be cheapest until Oct 31. In November, rates bump up $45 to $55 per pass.

Early-season rates:

  • Ski Hill Pass: $120 for individual, $210 for family
  • Nordic Pass: $100 for individual $175 for family
  • Combined Pass: $165 for individual, $290 for family

Stevens Pass

Everyday passes and weekday passes will be the cheapest until October 31. In November, Everyday rates increase $100 and Weekday rates jump $200.

Early Season Rates:

  • Individual (16-69) Everyday Season Pass: $499
  • Individual (16-69) Weekday Season Pass: $299

Stevens Pass Nordic

Seasons Passes will be at their lowest until October 31. In November, rates increase $40.

Early Season Rates:

  • Individual (16-69) Season Passes: $170

Additional Deal! If you are a Stevens alpine pass holder, you can opt for a “Nordic Add-on” for $80 through December 31st, after which it increases to $95.

Loup Loup

Seasons passes are at their nadir until November 15. Prices then increase $80 to $100.

Fall Season Rates:

  • Individual: $350
  • Couple: $600
  • Family (1 Parent, 1 Youth): $525
  • Family (2 Parents, 1 Youth): $750

Echo Ridge (Nordic Trails)

Claiming to offer the "best skiing bargain in the state," Echo Ridge has a seasons pass that remains the same cost all winter long. These passes can only be purchased in person at  the USFS Chelan Ranger Station, Uncle Tim's Chelan Rentals & Mountain Cabins Office, and at the Echo Valley Ski Hill.

  • Seasons Passes: $70
  • Ages 17 and under ski free

Echo Valley

The Echo Valley webpage is currently under construction and provides little information about the upcoming ski season.

Badger Mountain

The Badger Mountain webpage states rates are consistent throughout the year.

Season Passes:

  • Family: $150
  • Individual: $60

Methow Valley Sports Trail Association (Nordic Trails)

Season passes are cheapest through November 2. Then the price increases $50 and weekday passes will no longer be available for purchase.

Early Season Rates: 

  • Individual Season Passes: $275
  • Individual Weekday Pass: $199
  • Ages 17 and under ski free
